Koufront arrives in Houston on Saturday evening

Friday’s forecast:

Other than a stray shower or isolated thunderstorm this afternoon, our weather won’t change much today. We will climb into the mid 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

Cold front Saturday:

Big changes with our weather Saturday. The cool front will move through tomorrow evening. It may rain on and off throughout the day, but the main line of strong thunderstorms will arrive around 10am. Flooding is possible, with 1 to 4 inches of rain falling in a short period of time. We are also experiencing a severe weather threat, with hail and damaging winds possible.

10-day forecast:

Sunday’s front will drop morning temperatures to 50 degrees early next week. We also get a nice drop in humidity, which makes it feel fresh on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Mild high temperatures are short-lived, only with us on Sunday and Monday.
