BMW UK extends remarketing agreement with BCA

BMW Group UK has extended its clearance and remarketing contract with BCA for a further five years. The contract is one of the largest in BCA history.

Under the deal, vehicle auction company BCA will continue to provide their full range of solutions for both BMW itself and its leasing subsidiary Alphabet, including pre-defleet sales, vehicle inspection and collection, and the actual remarketing of the vehicles that have reached the end of the contract.

BCA has also retained the logistics coordination services and customer support services of the vehicle distribution center, and has been assigned the fleet services of the Customer Experience Program. The combination of all these services and solutions will enable BCA to provide a best-in-class offering to BMW fleet customers, employees and franchise retailers, the company said in a statement.

In concrete terms, BCA’s integrated network solution should save BMW an estimated 425 tons of CO2e emissions over the life of the contract, with further reductions via the online auction model.
