Parc Jae Jung registration date revealed alongside the release of the upcoming song

Singer Parc Jae Jung will enlist in the army next month. On April 18, the artist took to his personal Instagram account to share the news with his fans, revealing that he would be reporting on May 21.

However, before he said goodbye to his military service, Parc Jae Jung had one last musical gift for his fans. He announced plans to release a new song titled ‘Did Something Happen?’ which is expected to fall on May 9, just before he takes office. In his message to fans, Parc Jae Jung expressed his gratitude for their support and encouraged them to anticipate his upcoming musical offerings. Here’s the singer’s full statement, as translated by Soompi:

“This is Park Jae Jung. I’m writing this post because I think some of you might be curious about how I’m doing. To be honest, I expected my enlistment to be a little earlier, so I finished all my activities and waited for my enlistment announcement. However, I recently received the notice and the date is a little later than expected. I will start work on May 21, 2024.

Since I have more time than expected, I thought it would be fun to share at least one song before I leave, so I plan to release a song I’ve been working on. It’s a song called ‘Did Something Happen?’ I plan to release it on May 9th. I would appreciate it if you look forward to it. I originally planned to release ‘Preparation’ (literal title) before enlistment, but it’s not easy to finish it satisfactorily before that, so I’ll try to release it later in the future.

While I used to coolly suggest that in my absence you should find solace in the songs of other singers, it seems my desire to be remembered as a singer who will not be forgotten and who leaves behind memorable songs is also great. I hope you will continue to remember my music.

To expand

During my break I tried to get my voice back and compose some songs, and I also spent some time in my own way.

Personally, April 10 was my father’s birthday. I sincerely expressed my gratitude to my parents for giving me the opportunity to experience and live in this world.

If I have the opportunity to perform before I take office, I will give it priority. Although there are many more things I want to convey, I am always difficult in expressing myself, and there is always a mixture of gratitude and apology to my fans. So I want to sincerely thank you and I love you all. Please always stay healthy.”
