Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali pleads for forgiveness, Bishnoi Society sets conditions

Bollywood tiger Salman Khan recently faced an incident at his Mumbai residence, which has brought renewed attention to the actor’s past legal battles, particularly the 1998 black buck poaching case. Somy Ali, the ex-girlfriend of Salman, recently issued a public apology to the Bishnoi community for being on behalf of the incident, seeking forgiveness.

Reacting to Ali’s plea, All India Bishnoi Society president Devendra Budiya officially discussed the matter. Budiya stated that while the community acknowledges Ali’s apology, they would only consider forgiveness if Salman Khan himself apologizes. He emphasized the seriousness of Salman Khan’s actions and indicated that the fault lies solely with the actor. Budiya outlined the steps Khan must take for reconciliation, including a personal apology at the Bishnoi Temple, a commitment to conservation and a pledge to refrain from similar actions in the future.

The poaching incident took place during the shooting of Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, leading to legal fallout for Salman Khan and his co-stars. Despite being sentenced to five years of rigorous imprisonment in 2018, Khan was soon granted bail.

Regarding Somy Ali’s appeal, she expressed regret on behalf of Salman and urged the Bishnoi community to consider forgiveness, stressing the importance of moving forward and seeking justice through legal channels.

The recent shooting incident at Salman Khan’s residence has reignited tensions between the actor and Lawrence Bishnoi, an imprisoned gangster, further heightening public scrutiny of Salman Khan’s legal history and his efforts for reconciliation with affected communities.
