Springville is gearing up for Summer Bash at Big Springs Park

SPRINGVILLE, Ala.–Springville Parks and Recreation is gearing up to host this year’s Summer Bash, celebrating the end of the school year and kicking off summer.

The event will be held at Big Springs Park on Thursday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

St. Clair County students will get a half day on the last day of school, May 23.

The Big Springs Splash Pad is free to the public and thanks to sponsors, the event offers free lemonade, popcorn, hot dogs, chips, bubbly, chalk, popsicles and more.

There will also be stalls selling free gifts for children and athletics staff will organize cross-country games including tug-of-war and a sack race.
