Aditi Rao Hydari will also mark her presence at the gala as one of the brand ambassadors of L’Oreal Paris. Speaking to ANI recently, Aditi expressed her excitement about attending the Cannes Film Festival for the third time. “I have Lioness, an Indo-British production. The headliner is two girls. There’s Paige Sandhu from Great Britain. It’s about the suffragette movement and I think a lot of people are really excited about it. I’m really looking forward to starting that. I am also preparing and will soon be leaving for Cannes with L’Oréal. So I’m preparing for the work that needs to be done for that,” she said.

Aditi made her Cannes debut in 2022. She served up stunning looks on the festival’s red carpet. She was also present at the film festival last year. In 2023, her first look at Cannes – from the red carpet – was a dreamy blue confection by Oscar De La Renta that she wore for a L’Oréal shoot.

The Cannes Film Festival opens on Tuesday evening with the world premiere of Le Deuxieme Acte by Quentin Dupieux, starring Lea Seydoux, Vincent Lindon, Louis Garrel and Raphael Quenard.

Festive offer

During the opening ceremony, Oscar winner Meryl Streep receives the honorary palm d’Or.
“I am extremely honored by the news of this prestigious award. Winning an award in Cannes for the international community of artists has always been the highest achievement in the art of filmmaking. Standing in the shadow of those who have been honored before is both humbling and exhilarating. I am so looking forward to coming to France in May to personally thank everyone,” Streep said in a statement about this honor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
