Vivo Y200 seems like an endless series from Vivo. They keep adding new items to it, and we hear another one will be added to the lineup soon. A phone called Vivo Y200 GT will arrive in the coming days. There was a teaser on the official Chinese website with a launch date.

There are no specifications, just the launch date. May 20 will be the date of its formal debut at 2:30 PM local time in China. And the renders in the photo look somewhat familiar. It looks like the Y200 GT is actually just an IQOO Z9 Turbo phone with a Vivo label.

Let’s revisit the IQOO Z9 Ultra specs to understand the Y200 GT. We have a 6.72-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5k and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Z9 turbo delivers a peak brightness of 4500 nits with that flat AMOLED. There’s a chance the Y200 GT is the same.

IQOO Z9 Turbo has Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the lead role. It’s a shortened version of the original 8 Gen 3 and does everything with finesse. Android 14 Origin OS is the firmware inside, with at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in the latest 5G Vivo mobile.

Cameras are the key player for the Z9 turbo’s fame. The main one is 50MP OIS and the second is an 8MP wide-angle lens. The selfies are high-resolution 16MP shots. You’ll find that the flat plate has a 6,000mAh cell doing the heavy lifting. And an 80W wired charger backs it up with a 7.5W wireless solution thrown in for fun. The Vivo Y200 GT could be the same.
